About Me
I am known for creating dark, evocative art, often inspired by the themes of mythology and otherworldly beings, such as Tuoni, Hiisi, Haltia, and the elusive spirits of the forest. My work also explores new gothic, macabre, and horror styles, often using a limited color palette to create striking, atmospheric lighting. My paintings have become easily recognizable for their unique style.
Introduction
I am a curious and adventurous soul, driven by a deep passion for uncovering the mysteries of the world. My love for Finnish and Estonian mythology and shamanism has fueled a lifelong fascination with the ancient stories and legends that shape our understanding of the past. When I’m not immersed in the world of myth and mysticism, you can find me wandering through nature, practicing yoga, running, or losing myself in a good book.
At heart, I am a painter, channeling my imagination onto canvas to capture the beauty of the natural world and the magic of the divine. The language of nature speaks to me in whispers, where every tree, flower, and creature holds a secret message or hidden meaning. My art delves deep into the realms of symbolism, drawing from mystical motifs to evoke a sense of the eerie and otherworldly.
My Exhibitions
Originally self-taught, I have refined my skills through various painting courses over the years, and in 2024, I began a three-year basic art education program. My art has been showcased in exhibitions in Finland and also in Hawaii, USA, where I used to live. I have called Finland home for over 15 years, and I have been painting since early childhood.
